Stockholm, SWE — The Centre for Fashion Studies (Stockholm University) will organize an open symposium addressing the interdisciplinary study of fashion, costume, film, and media. The event will take place at Bio Mauritz in Filmhuset (Borgvägen 1-5, SE-115 53 Stockholm) on Friday 6th November 2015 starting at 9:00 am. The symposium will close with a screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s North by Northwest at 6:00 pm, in the same venue. The film will be presented by Prof. Jan Olsson, author of the book Hitchcock à la Carte (Duke UP, 2015). The event is free and open to the public.
