The Association of Dress Historians

New Research Conference

The Association of Dress Historians (ADH) invites you to submit a paper proposal to present at our annual New Research Conference, which in 2017 will be held at The University of Brighton. The ADH supports and promotes the study and professional practice of dress and textile history. We welcome innovative, interdisciplinary, and critical research papers or those that add to or challenge established studies. In particular, we would like to hear from:

 

• Postgraduate students who are researching a dissertation or thesis

• Curators who wish to discuss recent or future exhibitions

• Independent researchers embarking upon new projects

 

Please submit your proposal for a fifteen–minute paper presentation to jennifer.daley@kcl.ac.uk as a .doc or .docx file (saved as firstname_lastname) that includes a descriptive paper title, a 200–word abstract, a 100–word biography, and contact information.

 

The deadline for submissions is 1st October 2016. Notification of the outcome will be advised by e-mail on or before 10th October 2016.
